Wear clothes to keep warm and dry on the river and grippy shoes (sole colour doesn’t matter).
Twilight yacht races on the Derwent River are a magnificent tradition in Hobart; be a part of it and get your heart racing too.
This season we are racing on Thursday evenings at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania - the club that hosts the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race - and the Derwent Sailing Squadron.
DATES FOR 2020:
Every Thursday from October 15 to December 10 (included)
Helsal IV leaves King’s Pier Marina at 5:15 and returns at approximately 7:00pm. Helsal IV is the last yacht on the far left of the marina.
Cost – $95 per person.
Private Charters are also available on request.

When you book you will be prompted to pay a 10% deposit to secure the booking. An email will be sent to you asking for the remainder of the cost about three week before we sail. Full payment is required before the sailing date.

Cancellation policy - If we cancel for whatever reason, we provide a full refund. If you cancel for whatever reason more than 7 days prior to sailing, we provide a full refund. If you cancel 7 days or less prior to sailing, we keep the full payment.
