Sailing on the beautiful, expansive Hobart harbour at twilight is an experience not to be missed. Views of the sparkling city with its rolling hills and magnificent mountain backdrop are breathtaking in the summer twilight. Sail on the River Derwent, taking in the view before coming to anchor in a sheltered bay, where you will be served an excellent meal of the best Tasmanian produce.
Put together a private party of up to eight or a romantic cruise for two ... or treat yourself if you think you deserve it! Because these cruises are private charters, we can customise them to suit your needs. We run these cruises from 6pm to 9pm from October through March and from 4pm to 7pm in September, April and May. The aim is more relaxation than exhilaration, but there is plenty of time to give our 62-foot yachts a good, fast run before anchoring, if that is what you would like - most people can't resist it!
The evening typically runs like this:
You will be greeted onboard with freshly shucked Tasmanian oysters or canapès before sailing off to explore the beautiful sites of the harbour and making our way to our anchorage. We will nestle into one of the many sheltered bays on the harbour and serve up a meal from our galley. We will put together a main and dessert course based on the preferences you provide us at the time of booking or in later correspondence (e.g. you could upgrade to fresh lobster*). Only the best local produce will be used. The meal can either be served below deck in our large saloon or under shelter on our cockpit table - your choice.

Cancellation policy
If we cancel for whatever reason, we provide a full refund. If you cancel for whatever reason more than 7 days prior to sailing, we provide a full refund. If you cancel between 7 days and 48 hours prior to sailing, we retain the 20% deposit. If you cancel less than 48 hours prior to sailing we retain 50% of the full cost (we will consider the circumstances of course).
